Superstar Rajinikanth watched the special show of 'Naan Kadavul' in Four Frame preview theatres recently. He was mighty impressed by the movie's theme and the work of the crew. He met director Bala and Arya at his residence to personally congratulate them.

Before their meet, Rajinikanth wrote a letter to Bala felicitating his work and Illayaraja's background music. He particularly made note that Arya's caricature represented real life ‘Aghori’ Sadhus whom he had met during his Himayalan pilgrimage.
