As part of the audio release of Kanda Naal Muthal, directed by debutant Priya and produced by actor Prakashraj starring Laila, Prasanna and Karthi, Prakashraj presented national award winners including Prabhudeva, Vidyasagar, Dancer Kutty, Cheran, Pa Vijay and Chitra with mementoes.

The audio was released by Trisha and was received by actors Vijay and Surya.
