Vikram's pat for Vijay
Vijay's Aathi is going to rock film buffs, says Vikram.
Releasing the audio of the movie in Chennai on Thursday, Vikram said,'Vijay is getting more smarter in every film of his.'
Aathi, a remake of Telugu hit Athanokade is directed by Ramana and has Vijay, Trisha playing lead roles with Telugu actor Sai Kumar playing the baddie.
Speaking at the function, Vijay's father S A Chandrasekhar said, "This is my 28th production venture. Since I wanted a young director to wield the megaphone, my choice was Ramana. The movie has come good and would be a big blockbuster."
Thanking the whole crew, Ramana said it is his re-birth in Aathi. "I hope I have lived up to faith reposed on me by SAC."
The first copy was received by actress Sonia Agarwal, while the event was presided over by AVM Balasubramaniam, who is tipped to produce a movie starring Vijay next year.
Vijay and Trisha are shooting for a song in Switzerland and hence could not grace the audio launch. Interestingly, the music composer Vidyasagar was also not present on the occasion. |
