Director Ameer was spotted at the International Film Festival in Chennai where his Raam was screened last week.
An enthusiastic Ameer says, ‘Taking part in such an event is always a dream come true for a director and a motivation to work more’.
Raam was the only Tamil film screened at Panorama section in the international Film festival in Goa recently. ‘I am ready to take risks because I believe in my ability and not on other’s money,’ says the director. On casting young heroes for his movies, Ameer says, ‘cost factor makes me try out young heroes. But there is no compromise in the selection process’
His future aspirations include producing movies, with others wielding the megaphone. That’s not new to the Tamil industry as Shankar made Balaji Sakthivel direct Kadhal for his production company and Hari did Aaru for Saran. |
