The much-awaited audio of AVM's Tirupathi starring Ajith was released on Tuesday sans any great fanfare. The cast and crew of the movie gathered to release the first copy of the audiocassette.

Noted industrialist Nalli Kuppusamy Chetty released the first copy of the audiocassette and was received by proprietor of Sri Krishna Sweets Murali in the presence of producers AVM Saravanan and M S Guhan.

Among others present at the release function were director Perarasu, Ajith, Sada, music-composer Bharadwaj. Shalini Ajith was present at the venue.

A song was screened on the occasion, which was peppy and foot-tapping.

Thirupathi Vantha Thiruppam, a typical mass song featuring Ajith was screened which was applauded by a section of distributors present at the venue.

Speaking about the music, Bharadwaj says, 'of the six numbers, five of them are racy and sure to catch the attention of the masses. Responsibility was more on my shoulders to render hit numbers'.

Saravanan confirmed that the movie would be released on 14 April.

Ajith, who looks relaxed and elegant was a picture of dignity all through.
