Sarathkumar's next movie Vaitheeswaran, was launched on Thursday amidst fanfare.

The film, being produced by M Senthil Kumar and P S Ganesh, who produced Srikanth starrer Bambharakannaley before, features Sarath in the role of psychiatrist.

Srikanth Deva scores the music, while Meghna Naidu would be playing the heroine.

Celebrities including Radhika Sarathkumar, producer R B Chaudhary and directors S A Chandrasekhar, K Bhagyaraj and Gautham Menon took part in the muhurat.

Gautham Menon is also directing a film starring Sarathkumar, Jyothika and Tabu.

Sarath is awaiting keenly for the release of his 100th film Thalaimagan, which stars Nayantra opposite him.
