After a long gap, the famed production house Sathya Movies founded by MGR will be churning out a movie in Tamil.

Owned by former Minister and a trusted lieutenant of MGR, R M Veerappan, Sathya Movies would be jointly producing with Sathya Jothy Thyagarajan, a movie titled Emdan Magan.

The movie features Bharath and Gopika in the lead roles. The muhurat took place this morning (30.3.06) at AVM Studios.Directing the movie would be Metti Oli fame Thirumurugan and music is scored by Vidya Sagar. The first shot was taken by veteran movie director Mr. K. Balachander.The event was graced by the presence of producer T.G. Thiagarajan, Nasser, Vadivelu, hero Bharat and others. Also present were producer A.M. Rathnam, A.L. Azhagappan, K. Rajan and many leading artists.   The shooting for the movie would commence on 30 March in Chennai.
