After Pattiyal, Arya is now on to Auto, to be directed by a debutant, Pushkar.

The movie went to floors at a grand muhurat held in Chennai in which the who's who of Kollywood took part.

The movie would have cinematography by Nirav Shah and Pooja would act opposite Arya in the movie.

Auto would be produced by A P J Film Garden.

Says Arya about the movie, 'I was fascinated by the idea of autos speeding at 130-140 kilometres. It's illegal racing in traffic. So many people die in the race. The movie has something to do with this'.

Touching up on the success of Pattiyal, Arya, says, 'I didn't know the script when I acted in the movie. Vishnu refused to tell me the script. So I had no clue what happens in the second half till I saw the movie. Even Bharath would not tell me because Vishnu had asked him not to tell me.'

'I just did what he (Vishnu) told me. It was so much fun that if you saw it from far, it would look like we aren't shooting, we are just having fun.'

Arya is now hoping to establish himself as an action hero. He says, 'Auto will do that for me'.
