Vikram's Bheema to be directed by Lingusamy went to floor at a grand muhurat held at AVM Studios in Chennai on Friday in which the bigwigs of the industry took part. An enthusiastic Vikram clad in white and white, said,'When director Lingusamy narrated the story to me, I was moved immediately.

I am 'charged' now.'Asked why a big gap after Majaa, Vikram, said, 'I had to shed some weight for Bheema and it took some time for me to do so.'On his part, Lingusamy gave all credit to Vikram for accepting to be part of the movie. Vikram will give new dimension to the film, he said. The movie also star Bollywood star Nana Patekar in a important role. Trisha plays Vikram's ladylove in the movie.

The muhurat was attended by directors Shankar, Dharani, Sasi and Perarasu, producers AVM Saravanan, L Alagappan, V Sekar and actor Vijay among others. The movie has musical score by Harris Jeyaraj and cinematography by R D Rajasekar. According to producer A M Rathnam,'We are planning to release Bheema for Deepavali'.
