Actor Karan, after a long gap, has made a splash on the big screen with his 'Kokki', which has him in the lead role.

The movie, directed by Prabhu Solomon who had his moments of brilliance in King, has Sanjana in the female lead.

Happy with the way the movie has fared at the box office, Karan says, "due credit to Solomon for making it a racy entertainer."

The actor has lost around 23 kilos in order to fit in the role.

Hoping for a bright future, Karan says, "Kokki has brought a sea of change in my attitude towards movies. I am more informed and keen to excel."
