Kamal Haasan on Sunday distributed toiletries to inmates of several orphanages and old-age homes.

Taking part in a function organized by Kamal Haasan Fans Welfare Association at Sanskrit College, the actor distributed the aid to orphanages and old-age homes.

Among those who took part in the function included Madhavan Savithri, secretary, Madras Sanskrit College.

Fans of actor Kamal Haasan from parts of the State gathered for the function.

Speaking on the occasion, Kamal Haasan urged his fans to continue to serve the poor, needy and the down-trodden.
