For the first time in the history of Indian cinema, Kalaipuli S Thanu has come out with an electronic invite to announce the launch of his production venture Kanthaswamy. Directed by Susi Ganesan, the movie features Vikram, Shriya, Raghuvaran and Vivek in lead roles.
At a function held in Chennai on Monday, the electronic invite was released. Speaking on the occasion, Thanu said, “It is the brain child of director Susi Ganesan. The director had mooted this 'different idea’ and had been to various countries to prepare it. The invite was finally made in China”.
Thanu said,”1,500 such invites have been made for the occasion. It is a maiden attempt in the history of world cinema and efforts would be taken to find a place in the Guiness Book of Records”, he added.
On his part, Susi Ganesan said, “All the efforts are possible only due to the support of producer Thanu. The shooting commences 23 September with a grand muhurrat at Devi Theatre”.
Vikram, who plays the lead role, says, “Susi Ganesan is sure to render a commercial entertainer. Unlike his earlier ventures, it would be a racy stuff. I play different roles in it”.
A special trailer featuring Vikram and Shriya was also screened on the occasion. |
