Pyramid Saimira Production International Limited has launched 10 new Tamil movies at the same time. The company has given the responsibility of producing the films to renowned film producers. They will produce the movies on behalf of Pyramid Saimira.

The inaugural function of the event was held on Saturday the 5th April 2008 at Lady Andal School Auditorium, Chennai.

It was a star studded function attended by Sarath Kumar, Cheran, Sathyaraj, Parthiban, Vijayakumar, Bharath, Jayam Ravi, Murali, Sibiraj, S.J Suryah, Jeevan, Prasanna, M.S Bhaskar, old timer Mohan and others.

The inaugural function was also graced by the presence of some leading personalities like Rama Narayanan (President, Tamil Film Producers Council), KRG (President, South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce), S.A. Chandrasekar (President, Film Directors Association), Abhirami Ramanathan (President, Tamil Nadu Theatre Owners Association), and Francis (President, Tamil Nadu Film Distributors Association).
