Eight-year lovers Sibiraj and Revathy got married in splendorous fashion and the who's who of Tamil filmdom was there to bless them. A visibly elated Sathyaraj and family played perfect hosts as guests in the form of Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi and a host of politicians, actors Kamal Haasan, Sivakumar, Suriya, Jyothika, Suhasini, Mani Ratnam, Vairamuthu, Balumahendra, S. A. Chandrasekhar, S. Ve. Sekhar, Manorama, P. Vasu, Meena, K. J. Yesudas, Karthik, Bharath, Vivek, Senthil and many more graced the occasion.

Sibiraj was introduced in the film 'Student No. 1' and has gone on to act in many films. Sibi acted as a football player in the film 'Lee' which went on to be successful at the box office.
