The making of 'Kadhalan Kadhali', with a tag line for true lovers commenced shooting today on 11th October at the AVM Vinayagar Temple. Prestige films presents, this movie produced by Dr Ibrahim Pasha and Mr. Rafat Malik.

Erstwhile actor Jai Akash makes his first as a director in this project. The actor does the story, screenplay, dialogue for 'Kadhalan Kadhali' alongside directing and donning the lead role.

The chief guest MA Subramaniyam, mayor of Chennai city presided over the function. The first shot was directed by 'Kireedom' director Vijay after the camera was switched on by MV Ramasamy. The first dialogue was written by Jegan of 'Raman Theediya Seethai' and director Prabhu Solomon clapped the clapboard.
