Vikram and Asin were presented the best award for actor and actress at a function organized to commemorate the opening of Sri Gokulam Chit and Finance’s new branch in Chennai.

The best director award went to P Vasu, best comedian to Vivek, best new hero to Arya and best new heroine to Namitha.

Veteran actress Manorama was honored with the award for best and valuable service rendered to Tamil cinema and actor Jayaram received the award for favorite actor among Malayalees in Tamil Nadu.

An entertainment programme, featuring actresses Namitha, Sanghavi and Vindhya as also actors Vinith, Jayaram and Vivek, kept the crowd glued to their seats.
