Kalakalappu Music Review

Not just the films directed by Sundar C, but the songs in them too will present to the audience a collage of interesting genres. Standing testimony to this are tracks from 'Ullathai Alli Tha', 'Mettukudi' and 'Arunachalam'.

Toeing the line aptly is Vijay Ebenezer, for the music composer seems to have fully understood the need of the script and the director, in 'Kalakalappu'. He has come out with a variety album that has something in store for everyone.

The album starts with an energetic song, which is accompanied by a rap by Dr Burn. Krish and Mili Nair have crooned it well, passing on the mood to the listener. Good work by Vijay Ebenezer.

Women continue to be a puzzle for men, even after hundreds of centuries. This is the base of this song, which sounds like a gaana. A light hearted number that it is, 'Ivalunga Imsai..' is interesting to listen.

Another energetic number. Should be the intro song of the two protagonists- Vimal and Shiva. The song kindles a festive mood, an inevitable feeling the viewer gets while watching a Sundar C directed movie. Cool rendition by Rahul, Sheeba and Steevevatz.
