 Producer – director Saran and Bharadwaj always share a good rapport. The two have been part of several hit musical ventures before. In Saran's production venture Muni directed by Lawrence Raghavendra, Bharadwaj has come up with peppy numbers. The album has half a dozen songs which are sure to attract front-benchers.
Being a choreographer himself, Lawrence too has a passion for fast songs. Bharadwaj has come up with songs that would make the music-lovers shake their legs in joy. He has taken care that the lyrics are not lost in the instrumentation.

Asaah Pussah Loveu (Karthik, Janani Bharadwaj)
A catchy romantic duet. Based on folk tune, the songs has catchy lyrics with mild instrumentation. But the highlight is the racy tune. Bharadwaj is known for fusing Classic Carnatic raga in his songs. In this song he tries a fusion of Carnatic and folk tune. Karthik sings with maturity while Janani Bharadwaj (daughter of Bharadwaj) chips in with her best.
Thalai Suthuthae Maami (Bharadwaj, Kavitha)
Bharadwaj himself has crooned the number along with Kavitha. A typical western tune with trumpets and drums providing the right feel is more like a rap. The lyrics are quite pedestrian but Kavitha's singing with an Anglican accent makes it interesting to listen. Bharadwaj, the master of melodies, has fused Punjabi bhangra in the interlude. Bharadwaj plays second fiddle to Kavitha in the song.
 Gulla Gulla Dracula (Naveen)
Seemingly inspired by 'Cow Boy' songs, the number is racy, accompanied by peppy beats. Naveen, who sings at high pitch, reminds one of Mano (Mano has sung many such songs for Ilayaraja before). The lyrics dwell about evils and witch crafts. The song creates curiosity, to see how it is filmed.
Suru Suru Susuravathi (Kay Kay, Anuradha Sriram)
Bharadwaj has successfully recreated his O Podu (Gemini). A mass song with local flavor is a perfect one for the front-benchers. Kay Kay's energy level in rendering the song is amazing. With dholaks, thavil and nadhaswaram, Bharadwaj has rendered a song, which is sure to top the audio charts. He has managed to sustain the momentum all through. Anuradha Sreeram is at her usual self.
Varaanda Muni (Krishnaraj)
The title song of the album. In one single word, it simply rocks. Oozing with great energy all through, the song will quite easily catch the listeners in one go. The lyrics glorify the hero with an attractive use of instruments. Krishnaraj, who was missing in the playback singing arena for a while, is back with bang. Bharadwaj has packaged the song will all ingredients to reach the masses. Hats off to the music-composer for coming up with a peppy tune, which is sure to make the listeners dance.

A repeat song in the album. Ranjith renders the song instead of Bharadwaj. A typical western tune with trumpets and drums providing the right feel, it is more like a rap.
