After 'A Wednesday', Neeraj Pandey's next 'Special 26' is inspired by real life, high profiled robbery case. The film is an edgy gritty heist drama and the makers are highlighting that the film is based on the real-life daring heist dated 19-Mar-1987 where an unknown man posing as CBI officer Mon Singh recruited 26 men and executed a daylight raid on the Opera House branch of Tribhovandas Bhimji Zaveri in Mumbai, and disappeared with jewellery worth lakhs. The movie has an excellent proficient cast, namely Akshay Kumar, Jimmy Shergill, Manoj Bajpai, Anupam Kher, Divya Dutta and the south star, the 'Singham' famed actrress Kajal Aggarwal playing the lead role opposite Akshay. The Storyline 'Special 26' is based on the real-life daring heist in 1987 where an unknown man posing as 'fake CBI officer Mon Singh' recruited 26 men and executed a daylight raidall over India. The fake CBI gang is headed by Anupam Kher and Akshay Kumar. And their modus operandi was hugely successful as no politician, industrialist was ready to actual say how much blank money they have absconded with. The fake CBI officer could not be complained against; coz who would want to say that their BLACK MONEY was looted by a fake CBI agent! The Arrival 'Special Chabbis' is all set to unfold on big screens on 8th Feb, 2013. | |||
