After almost a year, actor Ravikrishna, son of producer A M Rathinam, is back in the hunt. He plays the lead role in the movie 'Netru Indru Naalai', a title inspired by yesteryear MGR film.
Directed by Lakshmikanth, it is a bi-lingual (being made in Tamil and Telugu). Akshara and Tamana plays the female leads while Nasser is cast as baddie.
Ravikrishna has reduced his weight considerably.
Speaking about the film, he says, 'It is a different film for me. It is racy and entertaining. The crux of the movie is about the sequence of events a youngster undergoes in three days of his life'.
'It is neither thriller nor a romantic film', he says.
On his part, the director said, 'When I penned the script, I had Ravikrishna in my mind. He is a good talent to encourage and work with. All my star cast including Nasser have given their best'.
Arul Vincent, an associate of P C Sreeram, cranks the camera while a newcomer Anil scores the music.
The movie is produced by Suryaprakash Rao.
'We have completed shooting a major portion of the movie and songs would be shot in the coming days', he informed.
