Thrashing down rumours and complaints that Chiranjeevi and other families tried to suppress the rise of Uday Kiran and hunted him down with their power, bigwigs and wisemen of the industry responded very strongly rubbishing them as speculations and baseless.
Tammareddy Bharadwaja said 'Only Success can suppress failure. Uday Kiran was the one actor who gave a hat trick of successes in one calendar year his career. But he was choosy in his roles and didn't grab every opportunity that was offered to him. His failures made him depressed and isolated. No one person, family or caste can be blamed for his rise and fall'
Murali Mohan also echoed Bharadwaja's opinions saying 'Opportunities wont knock twice and when they do, one should grab them with both hands. Movie Artists Association also requested producers to employ Telugu actors in supporting roles but it never happened. MAA can only support the actors in times of conflicts with producers or in calamities. Nothing can be done to ensure the actors any work'
Actor Siva Krishna who is the Secretary of MAA said 'I was there right thru the night at the hospital till the family members came in and continued with the rituals. That's all I could have done and I did the same. There is nothing that is done or not based on a bias with the actor or against him'
