Dasari Narayana Rao is considered as the inspiration to many directors and he is respected by many in the industry. He gives long speeches on how someone are ruling Tollywood and how injustice is being done to small actors and directors.
But when it comes to him, Dasari's actions doesn't match his words. He has bought the remake rights of a super hit Tamil film for his son's re-entry film. There is nothing wrong in it.
But he has recently said " Is our industry short of talented actors ? Why should we import actors from other states ?". It is correct, but our industry is also not short of talented writers. Instead of buying the remake rights of a film from another language, why don't he give a chance to a writer to come up with a good story.
Dasari Narayana Rao also said that our industry is full of heirs from big families and because of them, small artists are not getting chances. Then why should he try to project his son on to the bigger stage ?
