Actor Naveen surely needs a leg up as he is down and out.

His Shatruvu was a disaster to beat all disasters. And, come to think of it, Shatruvu was supposed to be his comeback vehicle.

So he is now in a desperate situation. He doesn't know what to do.

The problem for him is that he is not so sure what kind of subjects will work with the public. He has tried it all. Lover boy, action, comedy …you name it he has done his bit.

That may be precisely the problem. He has to be selective and sure of what he wants to do.

Currently, Naveen is doing a film directed by Jitendra under the Madhu Cinema banner.

"It is a romance-action story," he says and adds "I am set to do a film under the Maruti Films banner to be directed by Kodi Ramakrishna. Naveen has also signed another film titled Naa Voopiri.

In these films, Naveen is going to concentrate on packaging himself as an action hero.
