Director-cum-producer YVS Choudary, who became popular by producing and directing several hit films like 'Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo…, Seetaiah, Devadasu' on the banner of Bommarillu Vari, with Yalamanchili Geeta as presenter. He is presently making a film, 'Okka Magadu', with Balakrishna, Anushka, Nisha Kothari and Simran in the lead, who’s shooting was formally launched in Annavaram recently.

While the make-up tests are being made in the US for special get-ups of Balakrishna and Simran. At the same time, Mani Sharma is striving hard to give melodious tunes to this film and Posani Krishnamurali is preparing a tight screenplay.

The film will have seven songs and the regular shooting of the film is likely to begin in the first week of December.

The producer is planning to release the film on April 28 at any cost and the film would be a summer special gift to the Telugu audiences.
