Balakrishna playing the hero, while Anushka, Nisha Kothari playing the female lead, 'Okka Magadu' shooting began on the banner of 'Bommarillu vaari' recently.

The film is directed and produced by YVS Choudary, who gave a big hit like 'Devadasu' recently. Simran, who played opposite Balakrishna in 'Narasimha Naidu' and 'Samarasimha Reddy' is playing a special role in this flick.

The regular shooting of the film began with the canning of a song on Balakrishna and Anushka at Hyderabad. Manisharma gave melodious music to all the songs.

The producer is making efforts to complete all the shooting and post-production formalities and release the film on April 28 as summer special. Kommineni Venkateswara Rao is the executive producer of the film.
