Almost all the technicians in Telugu film industry are showing their interest in direction department. Writers, heroes, dance directors, action choreographers, cinematographers — all these are testing their skills in direction. In some instances, the producers are also trying their best to turn directors.

Popular producer MS Raju, who gave super hit films like 'Manasanta Nuvve, Okkadu, Varsham and Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana', is now showing interest to direct a film.

This Mega Movie Maker is planning to introduce his son Sumanth Aswin as hero in that film. Hence this would be a debut film for both father and son as director and hero.

There were rumours that Teja might direct the debut film of Sumanth Aswin, but it now learnt that MS Raju himself had decided to deal with the megaphone.

A mega hit film in Tamil was purchased for the purpose at a fancy price and it would go to sets once 'Aata' completes shooting.
