Finally, the twosome has come together. After a lot of on-off parleys with various stars, Shankar has finally managed to cajole Tamil star Ajith into accepting his sci-fi flick Robot.

It has hardly been a fortnight when Shah Rukh Khan refused to do the film. Now, it has been confirmed that Ajit has given the nod for the go ahead.

As for Ajith, he has stirred a bee hive by doing a remake of the '70s Rajanikant film Billa, which is slated for release. Ajith however maintains that it is his ode to the superstar.
