He may be playing safe with a story revolving around the land mafia in his forthcoming film Don, but Larencce feels that the time is ripe for the Telugu directors to tackle fresh scripts and take up new approaches in handling them.

The corporate entry would make all the difference, he feels. Given that the same corporates are into making films like Chak De and Goal in Hindi, they would also like to see different and innovative scripts down south too.

It will be only a matter of time when the demand for such scripts would increase, he says.
