Aasha Saini or Flora Saini had recently changed her name to Mayuri for some luck. But unfortunately for her, the name change seems to have done little to better her luck.

Barring a popular TV show, in which she sits as a judge, she has nothing much on offer. So, apparently, she was flying to the US to get in touch with some producers there for future offers.

But the main problem began when police at the Chennai airport were not convinced with the papers presented by her assistant Srilatha.

According to the police, Saini was apparently trying to take Srilatha to the US, by taking her along with her. But since neither she nor her travel agent, one Venkat Reddy could not provide appropriate information, Aasha Saini was detained by the Chennai police for further inquiries.

Aasha Saini is most popular for her item song in Narasimha Naidu and many people know her as the Lux paapa ever since.
