IndiaGlitz [Thursday, July 03, 2008]

Thammareddy Bharadwaja, who had once directed and produced films is now off from the industry in those two departments. However, he continued to extend his services to the Tollywood as a chairman of the Producers Council.

At the same time he is working as a consultant for a corporate firm Pyramid Sai Meera, which in the making and distribution of films.

The company had decided to produce films in Telugu and chose Bharadwaja as its consultant as he had experience not only in production and direction but also had good relationship with the film workers. He was being paid around Rs 1.5 lakh per month towards remuneration.

His job is to listen to stories and recommend a good story to the company for its consideration to produce the movie. Once the project was finalised, again everything would be in Bharadwaja's control.

However, it is reliably learnt that Bharadwaja could not select at least one story though he continued to listen to stories for the past five months, which turned his relationship with the company a little sour.
