Kiran Kumar Koneru produced, starring Jagapathi Babu and Mamtha Mohandas finished the shooting and under post production works and expected to be released at this month end.  

On this eve addressing a press meet director Chakrawarthi listed reasons for him being happy about the venture. He also disclosed that Part II of Homam is planned and titled as Marana Homam.

JD Chakrawarthi's twin debut as a director and music composer 'Homam' with Jagapathi Babu and Mamtha Mohandas in the lead roles, in addition he also plays as a negative police officer. 

He also happy with other two things, one is he has been appreciated by his guru RGV as the film is well taken, secondly Dil Raju pulse reader of films has taken up distribution of the film across AP.

While answering queries from press, he answered, he can not avoid the influence of RGV sine he is the guru, he choose Jagapathi Bapu since he has done various roles in films.

He also explained that because the film music composer got severely ill he has been asked by the producer-friend to take care of the music department too.

He said that Jagapathi Babu is playing as a under cover cop with extreme stamina while himself plays as a negative cop.

Producer Kiran Kumar Koneru thanked the director for excellent work and Dil Raju for distributing the film all over AP.
