The shooting and post-production formalities were complete for 'Homam' directed by JD Chakravarthy and produced by Kirankumar Koneru on the banner of Shreya Productions with Jagapatibabu and Mamata Mohandas in the lead.

The film is going for censor certification on August 21 and popular producer and distributor Dil Raju is making efforts to release the film across the state on August 28.

Speaking on the occasion, Dil Raju says, 'Our director JD Chakravarthy himself scored music for the film and there is a very good response to the audio. In order to make the audio more popular we have decided to provide audio CDs of the film free of cost to the audiences. These CDs would be given free of cost in the theatres where one of our films 'Ullasamgaa… Utsahamgaa…' is being exhibited. However, the CDs would be given to those who book 10 tickets in bulk in those theatres.'

Director JD Chakravarthy expressing confidence on the success of the movie, says, 'Dil Raju, before watching the film thought that the film is an action drama. But he changed his mind and agreed that it is a love, musical and emotional film. Our producer Kirankumar had agreed to produce the sequel to this film, even when the film is on sets. This proves how far he was impressed with the subject. We are sure that the film would be a definite hit.'

Producer Kirankumar says, 'We are going to exhibit the film in a premier show at Inox theatre in Vijayawada on August 27, a day before its release across the State.'

Mahesh Manjrekar, Pradeep Rawat, Jeeva, Shankar, Madhurima, Sakshi Sivanand and others are in the cast.
