A banquet dinner to honor the contributions made by Dr. Haranath Policherla for the challenged children by his National Award winning movie ‘Hope’. It was arranged in Detroit, U.S.A. where the evening hosted to a group of prominent people from the city. The crowd was mingled with different strata of people from the society.

Sreedhar Bandaru, president of Blind Care Foundation arranged this fest and the honorary guests were Funstar Mr.Shiva Reddy,Singer Vijayalaxmi, Actress Ruthika that added splendor to the scene. Moved by the dedicated service of Blind Care Foundation which runs a residential school for blind children in Warangal, A.P, Policherla made the movie and now he is being asked to make some more in the same line to create social awareness. The home now takes care of 81 children and wishes to elevate their life to a higher level for their individual survival. The filmmaker was all praises for this non-profit organization that renders only altruist services. Contributions of $5555, $5000 and $2000 were made by Dr.Haranath Policherla, Mr.Bharath Reddy (ATG Corp) and together by Mr.Shiva Reddy, Ms.Vijayalaxmi and Ms.Ruthika respectively to the organization’s well being.
