Dasari absence during the Nandi Awards

The gala event of Nandi Awards presentation on 16th evening was held amidst stars from the film fraternity and people from the state politics.

Even though socialites of different strata were present, the function had a few absentees comprising of some of the most prominent persons from the film industry. One amongst them is popular director and producer and central ex-minister Dasari Narayana Rao. There are many gossips making rounds in film fraternity at this point. Grapevine is he was absent because of the government's decision to re-hike the reduced Cinema Ticket prizes.

Joining the list of absentees is hero Rajasekhar and Jeevitha who recently joined as members of Congress. The story behind the boycott of this important grand event might emerge soon.
