The talk of the town the presentation of the prestigious Nandi Awards by the government of AP in a grand function held on 16th. Although it’s been many years now since the presentation of Nandi Awards begun, people from the filmdom was never seen bragging about the governance of the then ruling party. In the function organized with lot of pomp show by the ruling Congress Party, senior stars Mohanbabu and Krishna have praised varied schemes and solicited support for the ruling party, recommending YS Rajasekhar Reddy to be elected as a CM again. All these words subtly indicated their support to the ruling party.

Nagarjuna, who has appeared in the commercials on various schemes of the ruling party, although did not openly support the government, but gave an indication that, is pro congress. A few land issues over the Annapurna 7 acres is said to be the cause for Naga’s one sided goals. A lot of murmurs repined this function is not an award ceremony but a meeting organized to campaign the congress party.

Maheshbabu appeared to be reclusive to the disappointment of his fans. Though his father Krishna has openly supported the government, Mahesh did not make any comments that render support to the politics. Supporters of other parties say, ‘it’s a strategy of Congress to show the allegiances of the stars, which is being proved by all this political stunts.

On a whole, even a layman could grasp that sans any doubt the event of awards was precisely contrived to be a brag show.
