‘Maro Charithra’ was the black and white classic of the yesteryear starring Kamal Haasan and Saritha as the hero and heroine. Director K. Balachandar directed this sensational hit and a sequel is being planned for the same.

The popular star of recent times Varun Sandesh of ‘Happy Days’ and ‘Kotha Bangaru Lokam’ fame is going to play the hero. A photographer from the Hindi movie ‘Race’, Ravi Yadav is going to debut as a director in this movie. ‘Dil’ Raju teaming up with another producer is going to make this movie.

Once AVM's film gets completed that casts Varun Sandesh in the lead, the shooting for this sequel of 'Maro Charithra' will commence.
