'Pardon me for delaying the release of 'Arundhathi'' this is how producer Shyam Prasad Reddy began while confirming the news that his film will indeed be released on the 16th of this month. "We are initially releasing 120 prints and later on we hope to release more' he declared.
 
It is already acquainted news that 'Arundhathi', the much expected movie for this Sankrathi, had been delayed. Initially the makers announced the release date as 14th then postponed it for the 15th. They threw a bombshell yet again by saying the film will be released only on the 16th. This was in actuality a last minute updation.  The reason for all this is thought to be unfinished work pertaining to visual effects.
 
Producer Shyam Prasad added, "my apologies to all the audience who are eagerly waiting for the release. Right now the work on visual effects is in progress at Mumbai. We will receive the prints early tomorrow morning (around 3am) on 16th Jan. We will have them delivered to various destinations by 4 am. We have arranged to send the Bangalore, Chennai and Overseas prints by air. The morning shows will be screened as usual in the city, while in B & C centers the shows would start at 11:00".
