The compassionate singer widely referred to as our Nightingale of South India, P. Suseela runs a trust instituted with her name. The trust recently inaugurated a pension plan to help the aged and economically needy music artists for a better living.
On Friday, in the office of the Trust at Hyderabad, she presented Rs.2000/- each to yester-year music artists Anupama Wilson and PrakashRao as a part of the monthly pension plan.
Sanjay Kishore, Managing Trustee of P.Suseela trust said, “Wilson aged 67, debuted as a singer with the film 'Bhumikosam' made on Anupma Pictures, and sung for films like 'Karunamayudu', 'Kolleti Kapuram', Mosagadu along with many private albums.
