‘When in Rome be a Roman’ – goes a proverb. And that’s exactly what Hollywood’s ‘Pretty Woman’ is doing. Having come down to India, Julia Roberts is trying to be a true Indian.

More than a week back, Julia Roberts and the Hollywood team of ‘Eat, Pray, Love’ had come to shoot their movie here in Pataudi (Haryana). The team grabbed headlines about their stay in the Hari Mandir Ashram for shooting. Julia indulged in all the Hindu rituals and petty temple chores. However, the heavy security installed by the team has restricted the locals from entering the temple premises. The people are thus in dilemma as this is an auspicious and festival season of the year.

Now the latest buzz is that Julia has newly given Indian names to her three children. According to the head of the Ashram, Swami Daram Dev, Julia had come to seek his blessings and he advised her to learn good things about Indian culture. “I said that your children should have new names. I named her twins hazel and Phinnaeus as Laxmi and Ganesh while the two-year-old Henry will now be called Krishna Balaram,” he revealed to sources. It is said that the English family even tied the Raksha Sutra (sacred thread) on their wrists.

The Pataudi Palace Hotel, where Julia and the team are staying, is in fact owned by cricketer Nawab Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi (actor Saif Ali Khan’s father).
