Strict vigilance keeps Julia’s watchers away
IndiaGlitz [Monday, September 28, 2009]

Since the day she stepped on the Indian soil, Julia Roberts has attracted many. Leave alone the shutterbugs, but the locals at the most.

It is not that Julia is different skin coloured. The ‘Eat, Pray, Love’ crew and the movie’s subject is equally to be blamed. The movie features the Hollywood actress staying in an Ashram and following Hindu rituals. So people are all curious to see how a foreign lady will look in our culture. As obvious, Julia has numerous onlookers wherever she shoots. While youngsters are over the trees, the others are on rooftops. Everyone wants a look at the actress.

The shooting is currently happening in Mirzapur village, 40 miles south of the Indian capital, New Delhi. It is said that policemen are having a tough time controlling the crowd and so they keep vigil over the shoot having bamboo sticks. Not only that! There are also guards in muftis!

Clothed in a turquoise blue tunic and loose pyjamas, Julia Roberts was seen shooting for a village scene here, braving the Indian sun.
