Charmi had a disastrous opening in her debut film in Malayalam. Her ‘Kaattuchembakam’ directed by Vinayan was such a big flop that the actress instantly decided to concentrate on other south Indian languages.

Anyhow, she seems to be in the right side of her career in Malayalam now with continuous good projects and banners coming her way.

The actress who is presently acting with Dileep in ‘Aagathan’ is now fixed as the heroine to megastar Mammootty for the new movie directed by Shaji Kailas. Tentatively titled as ‘Droner’, the movie will also have another heroine.
 
Droner is expected to start it shoot by the fourth of this November at Ottapalam. Scripted by A K Saajan, the movie produced by M Mani will be a thriller.
