Ram Charan's penchant for unique storylines is well-known.  Recently he evinced interest to remake his father's superhit film Punnami Nagu and now he has zeroed in the Tamil film Paiya, that is still on the floors.

Now, how many instances have we heard of where a hero shortlists an unreleased film?  Well, that is what Linguswamy's (director of Pandem Kodi) storyline is capable of?  Paiya is a love story that has Karthi and Tammanah playing lead roles and Milind Soman of Bollywood donning a villain.

That Charan has been in close talks with Linguswamy to remake in Telugu has been talked about in Film Nagar circles for a while, and it seems it is materialising sometime after the actor completes Bhaskar's film.
