Successful director Singitham Srinivasa Rao, who made such experimental films like Michael Madana Kamaraju, Pushpak, Adithya 369, is planning to make a film titled Traffic Jam.

Saying how the story is so dear to him as he put a lot of effort in writing it, he expressed happiness over Adithya Productions of Konda Krishnamraju producing it.

His recent films like Mumbai Express with Kamal Hassan and Ghatothkach flopped at the Box Office.  This time, Singeetham's fans are hopeful that the director will score a hit.  Though the details of cast are not yet known, JK Bharavi of Annamayya and Sri Ramadasu fame, is writing the film.
 
Buzz is that Singitham is planning to make it into a bi-lingual (Telugu and Tamil).  A director who made romantic and socio-fantasy films in the past, apart from a host of rib-tickling comedies, has announced a commercial film after a gap of over 4 years (since Mumbai Express which released in 2005).  Ghatothkach was an animation film, albeit heavy budgeted, that released in 7 languages the last year.
