Kollywood grapevine is abuzz that Dhanush and Gautham Menon will be coming together for a film which will go on floors by the fag end of 2012 or the beginning of 2013.

It is further said that the duo met recently and Dhanush will be signing on the dotted lines of the project in a few days following which an official announcement listing the cast and crew will be made. The film will go on floors once Gautham and Dhanush are free of their current commitments.

Gautham is currently busy with work on trilingual 'Neethanae En Ponvasantham' that stars Jiiva and Samantha in the Tamil version. The film will release simultaneously in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. He also has 'Yohan Adhyayam Ondru', a suave flick with Vijay that made several headlines thanks to the first look posters.

Dhanush who is basking on the response from '3' has 'Raanjhana' with Aanand in Hindi, where he plays a Brahmin boy who is smitten by Sonam Kapoor. He also has a film with Bharathbala which is touted to be multi-lingual.

With both the personalities trying to carve a pan Indian image for themselves, we have to wait to know if they're coming together for a multi-lingual or a Tamil film.
