Lakshmi Rai joins UTV's 'Thaandavam'!

Joining the already glam team of UTV Motion Pictures' 'Thaandavam' is Lakshmi Rai. After Anushka Shetty and Amy Jackson, this 'Kanchana' & 'Mankatha' girl plays the third female lead and she will join the crew in London some time next week.

It is said that Lakshmi Rai has allotted a chunk of 25 days for the film. The shooting in London will be on till mid - June. Music that is by GV Prakash will be unveiled in July and the makers are planning to release the film by August or September.

The actress reached the next level in Kollywood as she was a part of two blockbusters last year, 'Mankatha' and 'Kanchana', in varied roles, with negative shades and as a glam doll.

'Thaandavam' by AL Vijay stars Vikram, Jagapathi Babu, Anushka Shetty, Amy Jackson, Lakshmi Rai, Santhanam, Thambi Ramaiah, Saranya Ponvannan, Sayaji Shinde, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Delhi Ganesh and Sujita.
