CID to check piracy menace, courtesy Copyright Labs

IndiaGlitz [Tuesday, June 12, 2012]

We have a new CID in the town.  This CID, standing for Copyright Infringement Detector, has been created to check the scourge of piracy.  Beware pirates, you may be caught for your crime.  No longer can criminals have the last laugh.  The spectre of CID, an innovation of Copyright Labs (that was in news before the release of 3 and Dammu), is looming to nab the designs of the pirates.

"We are happy to announce that many ISPs (Internet Service Provider) have extended their support to our company and have committed to block the specific content of the movies we are signed up with within a few hours of notification. Copyright Labs having the most advanced identification tool - CID which detects a pirated copy online within minutes of upload and with the undertaking from the ISPs that they'd block content within hours of our notification, it will be possible to stop piracy online to a very large extent. Copyright Labs, having studied the different methods of accessing blocked content has come out with the technique of blocking content in such a way that it won't be accessible even through any proxy server," Mr. L.H. Harish Ram, CEO, Copyright Labs, says.
