'Andala Natudu' Shoban Babu needs no introduction.  "It was on the day he died five years ago that I came to know how much he is adored.  Despite no political and business connections, Shoban Babu's Vajrotsawam will be held as a grand affair.  We have sent invitations to Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, and a number of industry stalwarts.  Krishna, Krishnam Raju, Nagarjuna, Venkatesh, Jayaprada, Jayasudha, and others will make it to the event," Murali Mohan said.

Tammareddy Bharadwaj says that the event is being organised without seeking any help from donation-givers, all by the late actor's fans himself.  To be held at Shilpakala Vedika on June 30, this event will see personalities and dignitaries from different fields converging to pay a rich tribute to Babu.

R Narayana Murthy describes him as a man with great family and economic values.  Suresh Kondeti revealed that Babu's son will be present on the day.
