GS is first 50-days Telugu film in Malaysia: Bandla

IndiaGlitz [Friday, June 29, 2012]

June 29 is an unforgettable day for Bandla Ganesh and Harish Shankar.  More, it is a day that will go down as the proof of Pawan Kalyan's unsurpassable stardom.  Manifesting the ever-growing popularity of Telugu cinema is another of Gabbar Singh's achievement.  It got Sallu bhai's attention.

This is the first Telugu film to complete 50-days run in Malaysia.  "After the failure of Teen Maar, I made the film with conviction.  Although it is only his third film, Harish has done a marvellous job.  I am proud to announce that a spectacular function marking this success will be held in the first week of July."

Harish shared an anecdote at a press meet held a while ago.  "I had narrated a story to Pawan Kalyan before Mirapakai happened.  However, things did not materialize.  One day when he called me and gave me the opportunity to direct Gabbar Singh, I contemplated that I had nothing in my kitty, except the film Shock.  I prepared a bound script.  This success belongs to the entire team.  Pawan worked so hard that he did not care for his health."
