Mahesh, Vytla, Kona to be for Filmfare

Is Dookudu out to sweep prestigious awards at the Filmfare Awards - South, to be held in Chennai on the 7th of July?  So it seems, given the fact that Mahesh Babu is all set to attend the event.  "Going to Chennai on 7th July with our Super Star Maheshbabu & our darling director Sreenu Vaitla to attend Film Fare awards..Dookudu again," Kona Venkat said on Twitter.
 
It may be noted that the film swept awards in all important categories, viz., Best Film, Best Actor, Best Director, at the South Indian International Movie Awards.  Prakash Raj won the Best Actor in a Supporting Role award for Dookudu.  Brahmi got the Best Comedian.  In addition, it won awards in these categories: Best Music Director (SS Thaman), Best Lyricist (Ramajogayya Sastry for Guruvaram March Okati).
 
It is very difficult to predict a clean sweep for Dookudu at the Filmfare Awards, but the film, by the virtue of its being the biggest entertainer of 2011, stands good chances of winning awards in good number of categories.
