Dil Raju is leant to have bought the distribution rights of Andala Rakshasi for a good sum. Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, the film stars Naveen Chandra, Rahul Ravindran and Lavanya Tripathi in the lead roles. Though the movie should have been released by now, it was delayed because of the other release of Sai Korrapati, viz., Eega.

Andala Rakshasi's trailers look unconventional. The director has also to his credit a short film made five years ago, which has caught the attention of, among others, Rajamouli himself.

'Andala...' is a film set in 1992. The makers refuse to reveal the storyline, but Hanu puts the idea in this line: If you ask me how this film will be like, it goes like a love affair between the Earth, the Sun and the Moon.
